On 2nd and 3rd July 2024, the Websparks Singapore team gathered at the Village Hotel Bugis for an unforgettable team bonding event.
The two-day event was packed with activities that turned colleagues into cherished friends and created beautiful memories.
Day 1: Ice Breaking Team-Building Activities
The team gathered at the venue from 9 am onwards. It was a rainy morning but everyone’s spirits were not dampened as they were filled with much anticipation.
The event kicked off with an engaging facilitator for the workshop, Vasu Dev, founder of Core Training Consultancy. The highlight of the event was the workshop and activities designed to enhance collaboration and communication within the team.
Vasu started with icebreaker games and the atmosphere was filled with excitement as the team warmed up to one another. From lively games and cheers that tested teamwork to building deeper individual connections, the energy was amazing.
No event is complete without delicious food, and the team bonding event was no exception.
The team indulged in a sumptuous international buffet for lunch, a time of relaxation and filling up hungry stomachs.
It was a delightful experience, sharing meals and stories, and discovering new flavours together.
Day 2: More Fun with Boomwhacker Team Performances
The second day continued with more fun activities and team-building exercises.
The highlight of the day was a music-making performance using boomwhackers.
Who would have thought that everyone would be whacking away to rhythms and pitches decked out in various creative performances?
Vasu introduced basic music theory before dispersing the teams for team practices. The teams learned to listen to one another and worked together to make things work.
The boomwhacker performances filled the room with contagious energy as the audience cheered their friends on. Each team member contributed to creating harmonious rhythms, symbolising unity and teamwork.
It was indeed a high-spirited ending to the entire workshop before the team went on to the serious tasks of assessments.
Creating Lasting Memories
These two days were filled with camaraderie, collaboration, and a whole lot of joy.
It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen bonds and create lasting memories. The team left the Village Hotel Bugis not just as colleagues, but as friends who had shared an incredible experience.
